What Up With Sports searches your program guide so you don’t have to.  We’ll highlight the best sports on TV for the week, complete with channel and time.  You’re welcome.

This is the final week of the college basketball regular season, which means there’s still plenty of time for a top 5 upset before the year is up.  The NBA is in full swing, with the Miami Heat throttling the league while on a 14-game winning streak.  Spring Training is underway, but more (or less) importantly, THE WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC! Yes, that is still a thing surprisingly.  Plus, all the hot NHL action you can handle*.

*There is none.

Monday

Cincinnati @ #8 Louisville (ESPN, Monday 7 p.m.) – A win over Louisville would be just the kind of win Cincinnati needs to solidify its spot in the tournament.  Mick Cronin though…

Knicks @ Cavaliers (MSG, Monday 7 p.m.) – If Big Monday doesn’t interest you; the Knicks at the Cavs is a sneaky good game.  New York couldn’t handle LeBron on Sunday and they’re playing the second of a back to back on the road.  Cleveland is quietly playing sound basketball as of late, and if NY’s defense is any indication, Kyrie Irving will get his 50.

Tuesday

Arkansas @ Missouri (ESPN, Tuesday 7 p.m.) & Alabama @ Ole Miss (ESPNU, Tuesday 9 p.m.) – Back to back bubble SEC basketball games, if you’re into that sort of thing.

#14 Ohio State @ #2 Indiana (ESPN, Tuesday 9 p.m.) – I’ll say it right here, right now. Sam Ponder > Erin Andrews.

Lakers @ Thunder (TNT, Tuesday 9:30 p.m.) – “THA LAKAHS WILL NAWT MAKE THE PLAYAWFFS” – Every talking head on ESPN up until a week ago.  That’s good hustle, everyone.

Wednesday

DePaul @ #17 Syracuse (ESPN3, Wednesday 6 p.m.) – There are plenty of reasons to watch this one.  When I think of any, I’ll pass them on.

#5 Georgetown @ Villanova (ESPN2, Wednesday 7 p.m.) – Villanova can’t decide if it wants to be in the NCAA Tournament yet.  Georgetown is rolling, but a slip-up at ‘Nova would be the most college basketball thing ever this year.

#13 Oklahoma St. @ Iowa St. (ESPNU, Wednesday 7 p.m.) – Iowa State nearly beat Kansas on their home floor, and really should have, so expect this to be the upset of the night.

North Carolina @ Maryland (ESPN, Wednesday 7 p.m.) – Maryland beats Duke, then goes out and loses to Boston College in front of one fan.  I like UNC here, but maybe Maryland is more Terps than Derps.

Thursday

#22 Wisconsin @ #10 Michigan St. (ESPN, Thursday 9 p.m.) – The Badgers got upended by Purdue because Big Ten basketball.  Sparty should have won at Michigan and I wouldn’t expect Tom Izzo to let the losing streak get to 4 games.

Thunder @ Knicks (TNT, Thursday 8 p.m.) – The young and exciting Thunder enter the Garden to play the old and sometimes disinterested Knicks.  Carmelo is going to take 40 shots, win or lose.  You need to watch this because Parks and Rec is a repeat this week.

Clippers @ Nuggets (TNT, Thursday 10:30 p.m.) – Or you could go to bed and get a good night’s sleep.  Choice is yours.

Friday

World Baseball Classic – Mexico @ United States (MLBN, Friday 9 p.m.) – The debut of Team USA in the WBC.  [Looks at USA roster] OK, I was under the impression that LeBron, Durant and the rest of Team USA basketball was playing in this.  What a waste.  What.  A.  Waste.

Rockets @ Warriors (ESPN, Friday 10:30 p.m.) – We might have our first 200-199 game in the NBA in this one.  Steph Curry goes for a cool hundred.

Saturday

#17 Syracuse @ #5 Georgetown (ESPN, Saturday noon) – Honestly, I can’t think of a reason why Syracuse will win this game.  Based on this season, that means they’ll win by 20.

#24 Notre Dame @ #8 Louisville (CBS, Saturday 4 p.m.) – We want Louisville to win this game because Digger Phelps and no other reason.

Missouri @ Tennessee (ESPN, Saturday 4 p.m.) – Never forget Bruce Pearl’s moobies.

#3 Duke @ North Carolina (ESPN, Saturday 9 p.m.) – Ryan Kelly’s gross beard came back at exactly the right time for Duke.  He scored 36 points against Miami and he is looking like Dirk Nowitzki’s neglected younger brother.  UNC is finally playing up to their potential, and an upset against their hated rivals on the national stage is very possible. Take dat wit you.

Sunday

#21 VCU @ Temple (CBS, Sunday noon) – VCU whooped Butler this past weekend.  Temple is in need of any win it can get at this point.  This is a nice game to have on while you clean the house.

World Golf Championships – Cadillac Championship Final Round (NBC, Sunday 3 p.m.) – This is only included in case my dad reads the blog.

Kobalt Tools 400 (FOX, Sunday 3 p.m.) – LOL just kidding, everyone.

*GAME OF THE WEEK* #2 Indiana @ #7 Michigan (CBS, Sunday 4 p.m.) –The last time these two faced off, Indiana knocked off the then #1 Wolverines.  Neither will be number one this week (thanks a lot Gonzaga), but the last regular season game of the college hoops season is a great one.

Pacers @ Heat (NBATV, Sunday 6 p.m.) – Way to highlight your best game by sticking it on NBA TV.  SMH.

World Baseball Classic – Dominican Republic @ Puerto Rico (ESPN, Sunday 7:30 p.m.) – After you’ve had a good chuckle watching that USA team try to play baseball, watching Latinos play baseball will be like listening to Mozart.
