Exciting updates from the world of music! Justin Bieber dissed Lindsay Lohan. Lil Wayne died. Then Lil Wayne didn’t die. Man, music sucks now. I blame Napster.
Starting Lineup
Kid Cudi – Immortal
I’ll admit, I have a bias towards Kid Cudi, but this new track off the upcoming Indicud samples Billy Madison and MGMT and that’s OK in my book.
Kendrick Lamar – Don’t Kill My Vibe [Remix] (feat. Jay-Z)
The hottest name in rap got the biggest name in rap to jump on a song. This is important.
Taylor Swift – 22
Boys are the worst, huh?
J. Cole – Power Trip (feat. Miguel)
A few weeks late, but this is the first single off his new album coming out this spring. It’s really good. As opposed to…
Nelly – Hey Porsche
…what the f— was that?

Justin Timberlake – The 20/20 Experience
This is some baby making music, people. At this time in December there will be a baby boom that hasn’t been seen since the 50’s. Every track is like 8 minutes yet never feel too long. Most of the songs on this album have producer, Timbaland grunting in the background, which is nice. For the most part, The 20/20 Experience is reminiscent of classic Timberlake. Sure there’s no Cry Me a River or SexyBack, but Suit & Tie, Mirrors, and Pusher Love Girl are all top-notch singles. Listen to Let the Groove Get In and try not to start spinning on your head and thrusting until your back gives out. You can’t. Justin Timberlake can do no wrong. Except for that whole N*Sync era. Even I can’t JUSTify that.

Wolfmother – Love Train
Has this Wolfmother song been used in a Hangover movie yet? Oh. It has.

Muse – Madness
Remember the Black Keys’ song, Gold on the Ceiling? Remember when CBS and Turner ran that song into the ground during March Madness last year? I can just now start listening to the Black Keys again. Well, get used to hearing Muse this year. A LOT. You’re ruining good music, commercials.

Throwback Track
Nelly – Ride Wit Me
I’m sorry you had to watch that Nelly music video earlier. Let me make it up to you with what is basically the same video with a song a thousand times better. Nelly, just close your eyes, concentrate really hard, and pretend it’s 2000, like, all the time.
